Yale UX Series truck takes root with landscaping experts

These spaces do not only appear miraculously; they require precise planning, regular upkeep and maintenance to remain a source of escape. It might not be an application that requires a full fleet of material handling equipment, but it’s the perfect challenge for Yale Europe Materials Handling’s new UX series.

The landscaping and horticultural company Ferdinand Wiese & Sohn GmbH was founded over 70 years ago. Based in and around Hamburg, she is an expert in building new outdoor spaces, pruning and maintaining trees. Used in loading and unloading trucks, the Yale UX Series truck moves a variety of loads around the yard. These are mainly pallets of goods but can often include big bags or, on rare occasions, accessories for tractors and earthmovers. To allow it to easily transport these bulky loads, the Yale truck has a side offset and fork extensions.

The forklift’s ability to go from light to medium use in these occasional activities was a feature that particularly impressed the customer. “We can enjoy the safety of the brand new truck and its associated warranty, which we wouldn’t have with a used truck,” added Hahn. “Overall this was the best possible option for our needs.

The Yale UX series was introduced in 2020 for customers with low intensity applications.
