ADRIAN, Mich. (WTVG) – A person of interest is in custody after fleeing police from Adrian and crashing a vehicle shortly after officers discovered the bodies of two men inside a residence.
This happened on Friday January 15, 2021 around 10:30 p.m. on block 900 of Frank Street in Adrian.
Police said they went to a residence to check on the welfare of people inside. Officers discovered the bodies of two adult males. They are not yet disclosing the circumstances surrounding their death or the identification of the deceased.
Officers located a person of interest who walked away and crashed, then got out of a vehicle and fled. The police located this individual and took the person of interest into custody without further incident.
Adrian’s police told 13abc they would identify the person of interest after a formal arraignment next week.
According to an Adrian Police press release, officers were assisted by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, Madison Township Police, Michigan State Police, RHINO, and Michigan State Police Crime. Lab.
